Hey ,
this map is a bit out of the ordinary. While being fairly easy to finish when driving normally, there´s a trick which one should make use of to drive this map how it was intended. However, this trick is really far from being easy and that´s why this maps difficulty is set to "Expert".

While most of you should know the "Bugslide", which works on stadium and all TMS environments, coast holds another, but rather unknown kind of slide.

Short Explanation:
Bring the car into a sub 90° angle. Adjust angle by steering. The closer to 90°, the faster the slide is. Exit the slide by countersteering. If you exceed 90°, you slide out.
Important: DON´T BRAKE!! It´s NOT a bugslide!
Also, the slower the car, the easier the slide is to hold.

I recommend watching the GPS to see how the map is supposed to be driven. So have fun, try your best, and don´t get tilted too much, as the high-speed slide with drift transition really is fackin hard .

Thx for the awards

sTelmOlO, yeah, the first one is very forgiving. With higher speed it just gets harder and harder to hold. Also had to try for quite a while to get it good
Bourbonstreet
Kif, i also caught myself not sliding the first turn. It´s just autopilot by now xD
uk.VR, if you got the patience keep trying. It´s very rewarding if you get it

Galba, DORIFTOOO xD

Gave it a whole hour of trying. Thought with some training I would get the hang of it, but the second slide did not work for me at all. The first one is quite enjoyable. A cam change like we see in the GPS would have been nice, because with cam 2 you easily loose the sense for direction. Also you could have activated the rear light tracks to make angle estimation a little easier.

Well, in cam2 i think it´s especially hard (look at cam2 player riolu using cam1 on ice drifts in tm2020). And i don´t want to force a cam, bc then there would be someone complaining about that the other way round xD. The idea with trails is a good suggestion tho. Would probably really be a good optical indicator, but dunno if i will update the map for that
