As you might know, "The Day of TMX" is approaching! To celebrate this, we'd like to invite you for a WR contest on each of the seven environments. A new track is released every day for a week, taking you on a journay through the world of TrackMania, as a build-up to the "big day".
The Idea:
o Every day for a week, starting today, a new track is released and linked to in this thread. There's one track for each environment, and the authors are all well known TMX members.
o Once a track is released, everyone (except the author) is invited to race that track and submit replays.
o By the end of the final day (26th of March), all tracks are hidden and the results will follow on the actual day of TMX. When that is you'll have to wait and see 
Keep in mind that this means that the first track released is open for seven days, while the final track is available for play for only one day!
The Rules:
o You may submit replays to as many of the seven tracks as you like.
o Cuts are NOT allowed (should there happen to be any).
o You score 1 point if you finish in the top 10 of a track, plus another 1 point for each other top-10 player you beat on a given track. In other words, the best driver on a track scores 10 points.
o The person with the highest total score once the contest is over wins!
The Prizes:
The top three drivers with the most points each win a prize from our prize pot. The winner picks first, then 2nd place, and finally third place. The two prizes that remain (as there are five total) are to be randomly given to any person who's finished in the top 10 (except the three that already won, of course). In the random draw, your chances increase for each track you finish in the top 10 in (like, if you finish in the top 10 on three tracks, your name appears three times). The prize pot looks as follows:
 T-shirt
Teddybear
1 year of extra privileges
1 beer mug
1 beer mug

Day 1: Desert
Day 2: Coast
Day 3: Snow
Day 4: Rally
Day 5: Island
Day 6: Bay
Day 7: Stadium

Imo there are no cuts. The goal in TM is to drive through every checkpoint then cross the finishline as fast as possible.  |

Haha, might be true, but if there's an obvious main route (which of course there is ), that's what you *have* to go by in this contest

I dont like WR contests wery much. I can drive great times with my KB, but the winners will be all users of GP/Joystick/Wheel...
You should make separate contests for KBers and Analogers |

In other words, now there's an even greater reason to keep trying to improve your times on all the tracks, even if you've given up on getting the first place position |

not that i've even got time to participate.
