Welcome to the TMX Monthly Track Contest (MTC), December 2008 
This month's contest is an official one, hosted by the TMX crew along with [pob]Kekx.
In the MTC, your task is to build a track on a given theme (see below). Later on, all of the entered tracks will be rated by our judges and a winner will be found.
The Details
Let's have a look at the details of the contest:
Theme of the Month: Connect the Blocks - Using a pre-made track with a few blocks already scatered around the building area, you must connect the blocks to make a track. There are two pre-made tracks, one Stadium and one Bay. You may work on just one or both of them.
Download the two tracks (zip) (Note: yes, you may replace ground with water and the other way around in the Bay track.)
Deadline: Sunday the 14th of December, results due the week after - just in time for Christmas!
The rules
 You have to include the pre-placed blocks in your track. You may not delete them or move them, and the blocks must be used in the actual track, not just as scenery.
The authortime must be between 0:30:00 and 1:15:00.
All entered tracks must have the phrase "MTC" somewhere in the track name.
You may submit MAX TWO TRACKS, but not two of the same environment.
A track must have been uploaded to the exachange between (and including) Monday the 1st and Sunday the 14th of December.
To enter a track, simply upload it and post a link in this thread.
The Judging System
Our six judges this month are: _The_Killer|TMC, Wallaby, --LooK--, TimeBreaker, Insane, Smok3y
The judges will rate the tracks on the following topics, allowing each track a maximum of 180 points:
 Design – Flow, smoothness, layout, speed, transitions, stunts, difficulty, etc. The general "feel" of the track. Max 15 points/judge
Presentation – Scenery and MT work – the factors that can make your track “appear better”. Max 10 points/judge
Fun Factor – Sometimes a track can be poor in every way, but still extremely fun to drive. Depending on how fun the judges find your track, a few extra points can be given. Max 5 points/judge

oh well, i might just enter here if i find some spare time... ^^
just... is it really necessary to have that enormous phrase "MTC December 08" in the trackname. that really ruins any kind of possibility to do something original with it...

"MTC" in trackname is enough! |

Yes! It's your decision which style of building you want to choose
But you have to use them as a part of the actual track, not just as scenery (as stated in the rules). |

You are free to do anything - add stuff, make MT, change mood, etc. - as long as you do NOT delete anything. Exception: In bay, you may delete the "ground" to have water instead.
You must use all the blocks in the track as part of your track. That means that any finish that is not used as a finish must still be driven through.
